We will faithfully serve God while making disciples of Jesus Christ. We will seek and advance multicultural and inclusive opportunities in the church, community and world.
It was a great day when we received a notification that Meditations in Black and White Outreach Ministry, Inc., had been granted tax exempt status by the IRS.
The Purpose of Meditations in Black and White Outreach Ministries, Inc. is to reach out to persons without a church home and introduce them to the grace and love of Christ. We will go to the streets, shelters, jails, prisons, rehabilitation center and anywhere else there are those who are experiencing difficult times. We will present educational programs, prepare church members and Bible study groups to reach out beyond their comfort zones by helping all people develop a closer relationship with Christ.
Our guiding principle will be Matthew 25:35-36, "...for I was hungry and you ave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me."
Because of your support and generous donations, since May of 2014, 100% of Book Sales and Donations have been used to provide complimentary copies of Meditations in Black and White: Beyond the Comfort Zone to persons outside the church, in prison, in shelters, in treatment centers, homeless, suffering from addiction, or just wanting to learn more about Christ. Several faithful small groups and many individuals have also studied Meditations as a spiritual study. Our purpose is to make new disciples and to encourage present-day disciples to strengthen their faith. We are so excited to extend our outreach with our second book, More Meditations: Building Faith & Relationships. We are grateful for your continual support and generous donations. We strive each day to be more faithful than the last.
